THE IMPORTANCE OF A COACH

As you go through life, you will meet people that have done what you want to do in life. They’ve made it! You know deep in your heart that if they can do it then you can too. So, how do you get to that level of success? Get a coach! That’s right invest in someone who has done what you want to do in life. If you want to become successful in business, then ?nd a coach that has made millions of dollars by building a business. DO NOT hire a coach that has never achieved success in their ?eld! Let me give you some examples of what you should look for in a coach.
Con?dent A coach must be con?dent that he can teach you to become successful in your ?eld because he has already done it. Con?dence comes through struggles and failures that ultimately lead to success.
Open A coach must be willing to tell you the truth even when the truth hurts. Sometimes it’s very dif?cult to see that you are standing in your own way of success. A true coach will bring this to your attention.
Admirable If you don’t respect the coach for what he has done in his career or personal life, then you most likely don’t want to hire him. A coach should be full of integrity and well respected among his peers. It’s hard to be coached by someone that you don’t look up to or even consider to be a professional in the ?eld.
Consistent A coach must be consistent with the strategies that he is teaching. You will see many coaches that jump from idea to idea because what they are doing hasn’t worked for their clients. Ask your coach for references so that you can see if he has helped others implement strategies that have led to success.
Healthy Yes, that’s right. A coach should lead a healthy, happy life. You shouldn’t have to hear about how bad his day was or how much he doesn’t get along with his wife. You want a coach that has a balanced lifestyle that enables him to help you with your obstacles and not concentrate on his own issues.
These are just a few things to consider when looking for that right coach that will assist you in achieving your “Why” in life. I challenge you to set a goal of hiring a personal coach, but be sure to ?nd the right one for you!

CONQUER YOUR FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

We all know that being in the public eye is not only a huge part of running a business but also a key aspect to being taken seriously as a professional in Network Marketing, Sales, Corporate Relations, etc. Unfortunately, the fear of public speaking can make or break our success in life. Conquering the FEAR that most people experience when they speak in front of others is most easily understood in four steps that just happen to coincide with the actual letters in the word itself.
F – Fight/Flight
E – Excitement
A – Adrenaline Rush
R – Rehearse
F – Fight/Flight
A person’s initial response to an unfamiliar situation is either ?ght or ?ight. If you choose ?ight, then you are basically saying, “I’m out of here”. You run from being pulled out of your comfort zone and refuse the idea of change. People that seek success and aren’t afraid of confronting their fears usually make the other choice…FIGHT! They recognize that they are outside of their comfort zone and are willing to face those fears head on. Yes, it is very scary but don’t let fear take control by running away from your dreams!
E – Excitement
When you make the decision to walk in front of an audience and open your heart up to a bunch of strangers, you are excited and eager to forge forward on your journey. The realization of being personally responsible for the initiation of your own dream and acting on that dream is so exciting that it is overwhelming for the human body. So, what happens next?
A – Adrenaline Rush
You made the choice to ?ght your fear of public speaking, you’re excited about this choice and now your adrenaline begins to rush throughout your entire body. Your knees begin to knock, your hands shake, your skin becomes clammy and worst of all…YOU CAN’T BREATHE! An adrenaline rush will cause you to second guess your choice of ?ght, but don’t give into those negative emotions.
R -The last and most important step in conquering your fear of public speaking is to rehearse. You must do it over and over and over again until you are comfortable in your new environment, you deliver an outstanding presentation, and you embrace your audience like you’ve known them for years. Rehearsal is the step that will determine the quality of your public speaking.

2) Never prejudge. You just never know who will be your next huge sale or potential business partner. Let them tell you yes or no. Don’t make the decision for them!
3) You must imagine you have ears like the size of dumbo. Always out listen your prospect and they will sell themselves on your business.
4) Attend every business presentation with the business relationship already cemented in your mind. A business person without a strong belief along with rock solid vision will fail.
5) Offensively handle every objection. Learn to love it when someone tells you no. Sell offensively versus trying to close defensively.
6) Always be early for all your appointments. This gives you the edge in the game of sales. This alone will increase your closing ration 25%.
7) Just go for it! Spend everyday knowing why you are building your business and what the ultimate outcome will be.
You must see it in order to accomplish it! I challenge you to add these business building techniques to your daily action steps and commit to doing them every time you enter into a new business relationship. Your life and your business will change!

I AM A HABIT – Part 2

One of my daily habits, which is the foundation of my life, is spending 45-60 minutes each and every morning feeding my body physically by exercising and feeding my mental spirit either by reading or listening to a motivational message to warm me up for the day ahead. Everyone washes their physical body and feeds their body every morning, but 95% of people will ?nd an excuse about why they can not ?nd the “TIME” to invest in a habit of feeding their MINDS! I consider this particular daily habit of mine to be the driving force behind my intense focus on success and living a dream life.
Is it easy all the time? Of course not, but when it becomes a habit – you will do it! If you commit today to begin each morning warming yourself up for the day ahead by feeding your mental spirit, your entire life will change in a very positive fashion very quickly. It is like driving a race car with the emergency brake on and you try to go ahead, but you can’t move. You stay in the same location with your wheels spinning, burning up, making a lot of noise, but not going anywhere! All it takes is to release the brake and you will ?y towards toward your WHY in life!! “You need to review what your habits are and ask yourself…” Would I recommend MY habits to someone I truly love and care about?” Your entire future lies in your daily habits—positive or negative. You have the most powerful force right now in your hands, the ability to decide what your habits will begin to be.
